Another AVIC Install! Good. But.. Iphone Problems.

I just installed an AVIC D-3 into my new 08 Cayman. Got the bluetooth, Ipod integration and Sirius. Everything is working fine, except.....the AVIC is "not connecting" to my iPhone for the phone usage. It worked when I first installed it a few days ago (at the installation place, of course, although we had to try it a few times) - but since then, it keeps saying "not connected" when I click on the BT Phone. Example - today, I was driving with the phone plugged in, and I got a call. The system "rang" through the stereo, but would not allow me to answer it. ?????? - The iPod feature works perfectly with my iPhone and other iPods. No problems there. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and if there are any solutions? I have the latest software on my phone. Any help would be appreciated. Also, thanks to everyone who posted about improving the sound system. I had the basic stereo (only 5 speakers), but added the AVIC and two rear speakers - and the sound has been improved dramatically! Really sounds great now. Thanks

Have a look over at avic411.com
I just looked around for a minute and people are reporting that it does work as it should. Maybe you have a bad BT adapter?

Thanks. Yeah, I have checked avic411. I actually got the phone to work after registering it. That is working fine. I still can't get the contacts transferred, but I don't think it is possible from the iPhone. I'm still going to keep looking though.
