As long as you have a PCM2.1 and a 987/997 (2005 + Boxster or 997, 2006 + Cayman), it should work with a Bose system. Only certain PCM's are built without amplifiers in them that don't work with sound package plus cars, but the Bose works solely with an external amplifier so this is not an issue.

Sorry Paul, I read wrong, I thought you did have Bose. If you don't have Bose, you CANNOT use part numbers that have 143 in the third set of numbers, for example 997.642.143.02 or 997.642.143.03.
Anything with 141 in the third set of numbers will definitley work.

That is only the PCM, any navigation drive will work and the part numbers are listed earlier in this thread. I don't understand what you mean about serial numbers...

I meen that if i want to by a used PCM and Navigation drive the only think that i have to see is not to have part number in the 3rd place 143?
Any other part numbers fit to my car?
