I got the Dension Gateway 500 and BT 1500 installed today from Sound Waves

Chad from Sound Waves did a great job with the install - very clean and OEM looking. I paid around $200 just for the install as I had bought the equipment from
Bumperplugs (which, btw, have excellent service)

.
I put the GW500, the BT unit and the iPod in on top of the Navigation DVD unit. The only thing that goes back into the passenger compartment is the microphone which was routed through the rubber grommet behind the battery. Chad did a good job of tying it all down with double sided tape so I didnt need to use the Dension supplied mounts (except for the microphone). We only ended up needing 1 of the fiber optic cables given by Dension and were able to connect to power right near the Navigation head unit.
I got text for the iPod after following the instructions posted by GW500 on another thread "Go to "AUX GW" mode and then press and hold FastForward for at least 10 second. Then you will see the textmode selections "+PAGING" and "+SELECT". Please select the "+PAGING"." Thanks GW500!
Everything is working fine now on the iPod but BT is giving me issues:
1) People on the other end of the conversation can only hear me very faintly. This is bad enough that I am contempating not using the BT functionality. Any suggestions on how to make the sound better at the other end? Is there a setting that I can tweak to increase the sensitivity of the microphone? Btw, the microhone is mounted up in the headliner just to the left of the sunvisor. Cant really move it as that's all the cord I have.
2) Incoming sound only comes from the right front speaker. An way to turn on the left front speaker as well?
3) The phonebook shows alphabetical subdirectories but i cant figure out how to get into the actual names.
Any help with these would be greatly appreciated.
