This has been discussed but no definitive answers.
Has anyone installed a Bluetooth cell phone solution yet. I don't mean those little ear phone things but a real kit that mutes the speakers or has its own external speaker like the MOT 1000?
I use the motorola HF820 clipped to my visor. It lasts about a week on a single charge with about 1-2 hours a day talk time. It is easy to hear and those on the other end can hear me well, even in the Cayman. I have it paired with both my personal cel and my blackberry. It works well with both. I just hit the tp button before I use it to mute the stereo. Its only $100 or so.
That's nice. I'm also looking for this answer but I want the REAL stuff. I have Mail and Telephone unavailable and I want to make them available!
I talked to a dealer today and they said installing a real BT should not be an issue despite what the manual says. After all, there has to be people using cell phones in their cars and BT is no different using the cell phone antenna in the car.
