Ok, I guess they're not really "spy" pics but here's a link to some photos of our latest prototype . Please let us know what you think.
We have many of our competitors' products here and have tested our work against each of them. We are quite pleased with the results we have acheived in power, sound and looks and we believe that these parts will be well received by the Cayman community.
However, we're not done yet so please continue to give us feedback.
Here's a link to the pictures of our prototype headers and exhaust. Please keep in mind that these are still a work in progress.
I'm the "anti-mod" guy on this site (based on previous disappointments) but as craftsman I really appreciate the beauty of the prototype. Hope it sounds less harsh than the Tubi and more Porsche like than the Capristo sound clip. Not that my vote counts for anything although could I be tempted????
Capristo
Capristo exhaust systems for the Cayman. The Capristo valve system allows the Cayman to be relatively quiet in cruise speeds but to sound like an F1 car when the valves are open.

I'd like to see the pictures of the cans through the back vents too. I'm not a big fan of the round exhausts, so an alternative might be nice. I like the front to back mounting of the mufflers. I'd be curious to know if they headers are interchangeable. I like the look of the two cylinders comprising the muffler. I know that most people won't see, but I like it.

I also would like to see a picture from rear, both with the camera man standing and with camera man squatting (can't think of a better way to describe it). Any particular reason why you chose to use 2 smaller muffler cans per side instead of the typical single large canister? Also it looks like this is a "race" type exhaust, with no cats. How do you guys keep the ECU happy?
Craftsmanship looks to be on par with the Japanese factories, I'm impressed with what I see. Would buy if the price is right.

Very good looking system and I'm impressed by the fit/finish for a proto - not that thrilled by the tips (look like trumpets) though. What are expected weight savings?
How much does the system weigh relative to the stock headers & exhaust? Any hp increase from a dyno? I'm also kind of an anti-mod guy. Most of the stuff just adds weight without aby real performance benefit, e.g. wings and things in particular. And weight is the real enemy!

I've gotten two exhausts for two previous vehicles from Borla and have to say I loved them both. They were louder than stock but not obnoxiously so, never had a fitment issue, and the best thing, it comes with million mile warranty (which I never had to use).
I'm gonna have to keep an eye on this as, depending on cost, I might switch over.
