410hp @ the wheels, for got the torque but that is around 400hp at the fly wheel.
Neil
I assume the 400 is a typo & you meant 500, although it would be 450 (still very, very impressive) with an 11% loss which seems to be the consensus here after many dyno posts.
My primary concern for a SC is (obviously) heat dissipation. Meantime, until my warranty is up in a couple of years, I'll be watching with interest. If the engines & your add ons hold together, it's certainly the least expensive big HP gains available.
Yeh not bad is it.We believe that if the weather was cooler and that we had better cooling fans it would have made around 520hp.Top speed is above 195MPH.
Confused, I have always seen the hp as a function of RPM. This one has hp as a function of speed so you do not know what the engine rpm is (or gear). Is it in a constant gear and hence there is a corresponding equivalent engine speed? What am I missing?

What happened was that we just wanted to get a hp reading and did'nt hook up the cable.on the last to runs we used the rpm hook. The dyno run was just done for use to do a few tests. The dyno did not have the right cooling fans as only on radiator was being cooled and the air temp was over 107 deg.The dyno run was done in 4th gear and taken to 7400 RPM but it made max power at 6800RPM @ 12 psi boost. The rev limiter has been changed The limeter is diferent for each gear.

I averaged the 3 numbers and assumed 15% : 475! I can only imagine what that feels like.
12 psi?!? Isn't that a little high for a stock-internals engine? Are you concerned about the engine's longevity? Were you running race fuel, or were you using pump/93 octane gas?

No we are not concerned about the engine because the air temp after the intercoolers is so low and we run pump gas.We had one on a engine dyno and we could'nt destroy it.ie 6800RPM for 60 mins @ full load.Shortly we are to start on one that will have 700Hp with a 6 speed seqential gearbox

Is that 60 minutes at 12 PSI or something higher?
