Look under 'Articles' (top of the header) and then look for 'Performance Mods'. Once in there look for a desnork article which gives you the details on grill removal. As for painting, others can give their advice separately from giving it to 'Bumper Plugs' or to a local shop you trust, or get a spray can and do it yourself (this will bring cries of anguish but it depends how handy and practical you are).

Go with bumperplugs.com for painted grills.

I bought an extra set of grills, and cans of primer and flat black paint.

Looks fine. For a pro job, go with bumper plugs. They do great work.

The best option to go black is buy them at the dealer. Mine cost about $35 each and came in matte black. No paint needed. Also buy extra pins you may break them if not careful and they were chep by Porsche standards. They may offer seals too but these are not usually in need of replacement. They look good on Red too!

looks great on a white Cayman...but what happens if your CS is black?

I've seen a black Cayman with a silver grill, but doesn't look quite right to me. What do you guys think of a medium or light shade of flat grey?
