Never heard of them and I've never heard of the Cayman Racing Challenge series that they claim to make their exhaust for either.

Someone should get one and test it to see if their claims stand up or not. Looks like they make systems for lots of cars too.

Ive only seen them on ebay... maybe you should search on the Ferrari forums and see what kind of reviews they get. Granted a cayman and ferrari are very different engine layouts, but it would at least give you a baseline for the quality of the systems.

EDIT: granted, clips are almost pointless to see how an exhaust sounds... but that racing cayman exhaust sounds pretty insane!

Yes, I have heard of them. Stebro has been around for a very long term doing stainless steel exhausts for European cars back into the 1960s.

Coming from New England, the salt on the roads would rust exhausts, particularly the mufflers, in one or two winters. Going with a stainless steel exhaust meant the exhaust lasted much longer plus the advantage of a better sound.

I am pretty sure I bought a stebro exhaust for an Opel GT years ago.

They have been around for a very long time - 50 years.

Chows4us is right...they've been around for a long time...I had one of their exhaust systems on my (don't laugh, now) '72 Pinto back in the day... Hey! It was set up for autocross, with a complete suspension re-do, and fat BFG Comp T/A's...I traded it in for my first Porsche, a new 74 914...

Anyway, I digress...Stebro made exhaust systems for a lot of sports cars and sport sedans, but I don't recall them getting into the Porsche market before...I guess you've got to be over 50 to remember them...

Think that I had one on a VW many years ago. Doubt if it was SS,only got a couple of years out of it in Pa.

I also have seen them all over ebay, they look like 2 regular mufflers. I dont think it would make much power. not the nicest looking exhaust either. youd be better off buying the ebay exhaust for $700, by maxspeed it at least looks better.
