Slotted Rotor for Cayman S

Anybody know where I can get slotted rotor for the Cayman S at a reasonable price?

suncoast price for the OEM cross drilled rotors is not bad, but I would like to try out the slotted one just for the hack of it.

Out of curiosity, why? Porsche does know a thing or two about brakes & has always produced cars with argueably the best oem brakes in the business.

I have to replace the rotor anyway, they are running low. Plus, most of the race teams don't use cross drilled.

Maybe cross drilled is better, may be slotted is better, since I am buying new rotor anyway, I volunteer myself as a guinea pig

Go to the brembo website. They have slotted and a list of local dealers. I considered this as well that is why I know. Decided not to do it

We use solid vented rotors for all the race cars if available. The cross drilled rotors tend to crack and the slotted do not seem to matter. I would like to get into all the specifics yet time does not permit me .

Just checked Brmebo site, under the racing section, they have GT3, GT2 application but Cayman S.

Under the aftermarket section, they don't have anything for boxster or Cayman.

Wrong place. Go to HP Brakes upgrade, then Gran Turismo Catalogue (you will see Cayman s excluding PCCB) as one of the options when you select porsche

P.S. Gosh, I feel like I've been talking a lot about Brembo recently. Just FYI I have absolutely no affiliation with them other then I was in a tuner shop looking at the slotted rotors and asked a ton of questions about them. I concluded it was better to stay with drilled.

Nice. That is a floating rotor setup. I believed that requires changing the hats too.

One of our sponsors, Road Sport Supply in Costa Mesa, CA has really nice slotted rotors for the Cayman S. Give them a call,

Greg

I checked that link, and those rotors are dimpled, not cross drilled. The dimpling is functionally the same as slotting/grooving.
