Since I have no experience with Mods on the Cayman. Has anyone had any problems with the Milltek Cat Back? Obviously I have seen the posts regarding the headers.

It appears to me the only difference the headers make is HP on the top end and nothing noticable on the bottom.

Has anyone compared Cat Backs and is there anything better than the Milltek?

Is this a Mod worth doing?

Depends on what you are after. I have the Milltek, and its nice, but a bit quiet. It has a little cabin drone in low RPMs under load, but not too bad. The tips and system look great on the car. The other systems are louder, but the drone may drive you crazy (Im basing this on what I have read here)

The Capristo, however, gives you the best of both worlds. It uses adjustable flaps in the exhaust system to tune the sound at load/RPM so you can get that high throttle scream, with the drone-free low-end.

Does the Cat Back only, make a large difference in performance?

Your assumptions about headers are incorrect, header performance depends on the design, for example short run headers will typically not increase torque but will increase hp at higher ends, whereas longer run headers will increase torque but sacrifice some high end hp. From my own testing headers add from 8-10hp if done right and a catback alone typically adds 8-12 again if done right. Combos come in around 20-22 if done right, some exceed that (Capristo) and some don't, again all depends on the system. You should always dyno before and after if you want to know what YOUR gains are, not "advertised" gains.

Are the Capristo headers the short run or long run headers?

Short, but I still get some torque gains, at least better than say a torque loss. Milltek headers were a little longer run, Borla look to be longer still, but haven't tested those yet.
