Installed Fabspeed Maxflow Exhaust - Video

Well I finally got around to installing my first mod. Only took 8 months!

I am very pleased with the Maxflow exhaust. Outstanding quality on the workmanship and install was not bad. (I watched)

Tips adjustment can be a little time consuming, but hey you got to get them right.

I had my camera, but took mostly pictures of other cars that were in the shop.

Here is a before and after tip picture:

Does your installation include the headers? Also any dyno figures before and after? PLease give us your comments, such as noise in the cabin, feel etc.

Just cat back only.

There is a little drone about 2800 rpm, but I think the stocker had a drone too. It's just more pronounced with the Fabspeed.

I love the little burble it makes when you let off the gas.

I have a base dyno, but I'm waiting on desnork and intake before I go again.

Thanks Neil for a great job!

Now if I hit the lottery on Friday night I'll let you do the 3.8L swap with the blower.

On the drone. I think if you can stay out of the 2800 rpm zone it is very pleasent, but a highway trip may get to you after awhile.

Nothing really, just a little patience for loosing this clamp and that clamp, getting it just right and buttoning every thing back up without them moving.

Of course we had 4 people standing there with 4 different opinions on where they should be.

Oh yeah, (Chops slaps his forehead) a big thanks to aerocru for getting the group buy up on this and doing a test fit.

Chops your Cayman S looks and sounds great. Feel free to P.M. if you have any questions or comments about the system. If you do get the car dyno'd, could you send me the stats we want to compare dyno results.

Chops, a stock Cayman S is faster than a stock 335i, so I suspect the 335i owner has already done some turbo tweaking for more hp if they were faster than you with a Fabspeed exhaust.
