Does anyone know if this really works ? STAGE 3 SURGE Adjustable Performance Chip w/ O2 Sensor CEnhances Nm, throttle response, acceleration and torque in the full RPM range.
Performance level setting from 0 - 100 %.
You can set the preferred higher air/fule ratio than the stoichiometric fuel mix.
Unit is not a simple resistor.
INTEGRATED O2 - OXYGEN SENSOR SIGNAL CONTROL to avoid undesired snubbing of ECU
Pushes up acceleration and dynamism by up to 30 %.
Results higher top speed.
Long duration - 10 years warranty.
Easy universal 20 minutes installation.
Immediate effect even during driving, no ECU learning period.

Bright red light design..

I'm not convinced with the 30% greater dynamism.

Not exactly a technical term there.

Chipping a N/A car (in 99% of all cases) does nothing. Probably does worse than factory. Aftermarkets just dont have the testing suite that the factory guys do.

FI (turbo/supercharging) is different. The factory usually puts in place a wide margin of error in case of basically tune against this, by raising boost and fueling.... So that is why you will see huge gains on turboed cars with a chip.

Make sense?

Yes That makes a lot of sense.I dont have the cayman S I just could not swing the $$ so I am trying to Get a little increase in HP. I know relize there will always be a faster Cayman then Mine. It is still a fun Car to drive and own.I think it is more fun to customize the car in a personalized manner then increase the HP .I dont go on tracks and In Wa you get tickets going 10 MPH over the speed limit anyway. Thanks for the Insight

Chipping it will get a small horsepower increase 5-6hp peak with possibly larger gains in the mid-range. It will also increase throttle response so will feel faster. Talk to the guys at Revo or Softronic for further info or search in the forum.

I think it is worth doing and the world will not coincidentally end. Stick with proven vendors/sponsors of the club and there won't be any problems. Anyone else will potentially cause the afore-mentioned problems. Can get ugly.
