Check out the cosmetic mods in the articles section, there is an article with pictures on replacing them, also read all the comments - but its also in the manual.
I fitted clear side markers yesterday - it only takes 10 minutes max.

One question - does anyone know if they are mean't to flash when using the turn indicators (because mine don't) or are they just side/parking lights?

Mine stay on, but if you watch some of the Cayman videos on the Porsche site, they do flash to indicate turning. Maybe this is European specific?

The old ones should really just pop off, then you disconnect the wire. Backwards with clears, and it's done!

On U.S. cars they stay on with the parking lights. On E.U. cars, they blink with the turn signals. This is because of NHTSA requirements. It's a programmable feature that can be changed via PIWIS (Porsche Integrated Workshop Information System).

BTW - I just recently made a purchase through Suncoast, and Steve was the gentlemen I spoke with. I must say that I have been blown away by their pricing and service so far. I will write more once I recieve the parts.

I am getting my clear side markers today on my CS. It's Guards Red with Aluminum Look - so I think they are going to look great!

I got a pair as a gift before I picked up the CS. The dealer installed them for me without charge. I watched and it's a simple pop-out and pop-in process.
