Question Best exhaust system for base Cayman.

I've been lurking and searching this great forum for months now and I can't decide which system to buy for my car. Please advice. I don't want to increase the sound that much, because I like the slick sound of the actual exhaust. I am leaning towards Milltek or Speedart right now.

I'm putting on a SpeedArt tomorrow

Give me a few days and I'll let you know what I think.
One advantage is weight. SpeedArt is almost 20 pounds lighter than stock. It also comes in "Sport" and "Race" versions. "Race" is louder and is export only.

AWE didn't work out for me due to vibrations. Also had a weld split

Oh, I'm getting the Race version

I can understand that you love your AWE, but other guys are saying that the awe system is loud. What do you have to say about this?

If you don't want something too loud I would advise either Milltek or Capristo and keep the valves closed on the Capristo or set your auto settings really high so it only gets loud say about 6,000 rpm or something like that. Speedart is louder than either of those systems and has more drone in the 2200-3000 range as well which you will find gets irritating on longer drives.

Someone else here had a B&B installed recently and didn't like the drone or the volume of the system very much so for someone looking for a more milder sounding aftermarket exhaust I don't think B&B is the answer.
