Capristo Exhaust System

Finally got my Cayman S with the full Capristo System. Lucky me I got to break it in on todays ExoticRun held out at Champion of long island. I got about 140 miles on the system and then I got a check engine light. All I have installed on the car is the exhaust. Any help with this would be great. I will up loading the video of todays run in a few.

I sent you a PM, depending upon what programming you have from the factory your secondary O2 settings may be too sensitive and you can fix that with some tuning. Details in your PM.

Talking Capristo and Plenum

Hey,

My Cayman S has the EVO V-Flow Air Intake, the Full Capristo Exhaust (200 Cell Cats) and the RSS IPD plenum. I was kicking CELs until I loaded the Snap-Flash, but now its clear, runs quiter and quicker. I still have my sports/chron mode and there is a difference. I wanted the the APR type switch on the cruise control (Valet, 93 octane, 100 octane and stock) and was going to be their test bed, but I went with the Snap-Flash and don't regret it. It seems to be doing a great job of keeping the CELs away (I cleared mine 4 times) and keepign the car quick.

I would recommend the Snap-Flash install from Scott S. and adding the plenum and EVO V-Flow. Your car will kick!

Make sure the setting on the ECU in OPN mode is at 100 min.
CLS should be at 20, the valves might not be opening up enough which could cause a little more heat, which could trigger a light. I discussed it with the factory this morning, that was their suggestion. Antonio Capristo was adamant that they have no CEL’s on the cars that have been in testing & that are still being driven.

In my opinion, here in the USA I would do the mod that Ken suggests so there are no issues.
