I'm really wanting to get an ecu software upgrade or chip. My only concern is voiding my warranty. I keep reading that some units can't be detected by the dealer. Does anyone know thw real scoop!

only way a dealer would no is if they looked for it. These cars arent like turbo applications where a chip alone will add 60HP. make sure you dyno your car B4 you do anything TRUST ME!!! you want to know if your mods added power. Cayman S' have come from the factory with 218-286HP to the wheels. A factory car SHOULD put down 250-260HP.
