Capristo Programming

I know a lot of us have had various issues with the capristo. All in all a great system. I have seen on the board that some are having the issue where the system operates normally when the valves open, but do not close after slowing down. I have asked nick from forza if this is a programming issue. Sometimes I can close them with remote. Does anyone have the easy way of programming the box to tell the valve to close and what the values I need to set for all four settings.

Bit of a carry on from what I've read. I'm about to do an exhaust and think I'll steer clear of the fairly complicated Capristo and its problems

I think we need a bit more info here to be able to help you.

1) Do you have the first gen black box or the new updated one from Capristo?

2) Have you modified the programming at all to date?

3) Where is your blue vacuum cannister installed at? Is it installed correctly (per my install, not others who have installed incorrectly).

At this point there isn't enough info for me to help you other than to say if the vacuum tank is installed correctly, the car's black box a newer version then I haven't had any issues at all with valves opening or closing, they have operated exactly as they should have. I also noted that the newer systems from Capristo to avoid the rubbing issue have new spring bolt caps on the valve assemblies that appear to be a better design, have you swapped your exhaust for the new non-rubbing version?

I had the same problem. Programmed 80/155 and works great now on a 3.2 Boxster 2005.
