Beez, I can feel the glowing red of your emotions from here. .. You are correct about the 966TT not racing. Thats all. Sorry, I wish I could help you out with the rest, but you appear to be trying to sound informative and trying to humiliate someone at the same time. LOL Weird. I mean you NO disrespect. I have worked with these lower speed aerodynamic all of my life. This type of rear wing is NOT a big deal, no matter how you try to frame it. You do a couple of laps with it, and you know immediately if its helping or not... LOL. And I am NOT designing an ALMS racer machine to race against Penske. I think you would know that. Yes? The aerodynamics of the ALMS cars that you mention, are critical to gain fractions of seconds advantages on their similar competitors. Also, I have not been trying to "show" you anything. Youre a moderator, I think you would know that.
Emotions glowing red? Are you joking? I'm not trying to humiliate anyone... it's you that's trying to sound informative... I really don't give a rat's patooty what wing you decide to hang on the back of your car, or whether it works or makes you fly off the road - that's your business, and to each his own... what I was commenting on is your general statement that the use of aerodynamic devices at speeds of 100-150 miles per hour is inconsequential, which just ludicrous. I really don't like to see misinformation put up on the site under the guise of "expertise."

Will do, just a few symmetry corrections to make then it can have it's final coat before we make the mould.
In answer to previous questions re attachment It will use the 3 plastic rivets as standard below and probably need 2 new ones in the central section (underneath) and one in each wheel arch.
In that thread our poor poster is opining about why his Cayman consistantly falls 15+ mph short of Porsche's claimed top speed. Most Caymans exceed the claimed top speed, due to speedometer error. Even with speedo error this car won't come close. Take a good look at his wing for the reason why.
Yea Gator Bite I agree with you and the previous thread. Re Top Speed.
I had my car on Elvington (an old disused US airbase near York) in November Achieved best 168mph. So I will try after any mods “just to see”
See: http://www.caymanclub.net/cayman-uk/...rive-plus.html
Not the very best photograph, as you can't see much of the detail in black. never the less front splitter is now at the "ready to start moulding" so this is the finished shape.
At a rough guess if I manage to sell 10 they will cost about £250-275each ($500-$550 approx) in a Kevlar carbon mix which would need to be finished with a coat of paint, or maybe about double that in straight Carbon which obviously wouldn't need painting and would come Lacquered and ready to fit.
This is the spoiler (below) pre final finishing, this shot gives a better idea of the shape. Obviously the final spoiler will finish on the crease line where it joins the bumper (and not continue up to where the paint finishes, this is only to get the mould to realease as we start to make the master)
