I know that Garrett at GAIC was testing Cayman S programming for the ECU just last week.

I know Garret and Andrew at GIAC. They helped me out a bit tuning an old turboed E30. I live just a few miles from them and was going to stop by to see what they have planned for the Caymen.

Ask Garret if he's got it ready, if he does, have him send the files to Stephen at Imagine Auto and I'll go down and get a dyno run at Imagine Auto, flash with Garret's program and dyno run again.

I stopped by today since i had the day off. They said it would be about a week or so at least. They had just recieved a prototype intake from evolution motorsports and were about to install it (sorry no pics) and start testing with it. They said they were getting about 250whp on their mustang dyno froma stock Caymen, which is pretty much the same they saw from a stock 3.4L 911. They expected about 15whp from the intake/software combo. They said they would post some dyno runs and info on their web site as soon as they had something.

I didn't ask about pricing. I imagine its probably about the same as the intake/software combo for the Boxster S. There are probably some prices listed on evolution motorsports' web site, but it looks like it is down at the moment.

Is this for real? 250WHP on a mustang dyno is alot and is more than the claimed HP by Porsche. But the quarter mile formula where the weight and trap speed are calculatedbetween 293 HPto 295 HP. Is this for real.

About250whp is what they told me, butthey didn't show me any dyno plots or anything. We will have to wait for more info from them. I'll check back with them again in a couple weeks if i can.
