I got my short shifter for SunCoast last time they had a 10% off sale for around $360, I think they are having another sale in February. The dealer charged me $180, an hour and a half of labor to install it.

Paid for mine approx. 600$ everything included (inclusive the original Porsche Aluminium shift knob that the dealer had in stock for several months...)

Loving the shifter and the way how the knob feels'...heavily recommend that option

You should at least get the 15% PCA discount with your dealer on parts... and negotiate on labor....

My Dealer is in Cary, NC - send me PM if you want more details

Hi!

I think these are reasonable prices ...360-600 USD.
Over here Porsche charges you for the short shifter 571,20 EUR when ordered with the car!!!

Don't wanna know how much that is if you want to add it on later.

But Porsche also says that it is significantly harder to shift when the oil is still cold.

What are your experiances on that?

Bye,
Marcel.

1st gear can be a little clunky and difficult when the car is cold. but it's not a big problem IMO
