Well a good cleaning is where I am going to start, removing dust, dirt, elk bits, whatever I find. I may disassemble some parts and have them powder coated or something like that. I have some new aluminum goodies coming in that will help a little. I was actually thinking of making a stencil to help with the PORSCHE lettering on the intake runners on either side. Chrome valve covers are not needed as you won't be able to see them even with the clear engine cover as they are too buried under the intake, wiring, etc. and on the sides where you really don't see them as opposed to say a V-8 where they are more up top. The black trim around the clear engine cover is going to say "CaymanClub.Net" is that cool or what?

Ken it's cool but can you post some pictures of the finished work?
LOL... Pictures? Lets see... The guy who currently has 1269 images loaded on the system. I think the chances of Ken posting a picture or two are highly probable.
No you aren't crazy, but it was the intake runners, Porsches4Ed did that, although he did it without removing the parts (taping and masking) because he said the parts were difficult to remove to paint. I haven't looked into it... once I receive my clear engine cover I will, of course, document everything. However, do not wait on me to do so to buy one because there may only be one run of these covers and if you wait you may not be able to get one in the future.

My Friend and Colleague Antonius Beyer in Nordkirchen - Germany
recently had to have his car pass the annual testing requirements........
Unfortunately the 'Test Centre' could not find the Engine - to complete the testing............. Perhaps a clear engine cover would have helped in this instance?
