Bumper removal and Spoiler adjustment

Hi guys,

I have a 987 Boxster S and needed a guide on removing the front bumper and adjusting the rear spoiler, any similarties in doing it for a Cayman and Boxster 987?

Cheers,

Waz

Front bumper removal is almost identical, see the article on how to do so in our ARTICLES section, I think Porsches4Ed authored it.

Adjusting the spoiler requires removing the little torx screws that hold painted spoiler top to black plastic bottom to separate the pieces, then using a deep well socket to loosen the 2 nuts that hold spoiler blade to the 2 arms and position where you want it and re-tighten. Not a lot of play, but some.

Thanks mate just found it. The problem I have in my passenger side headlamp washer (UK) car is sitting lower into the bumper. Pops out and sprays fine but sits back down so that the head of headlamp washer is level with the bumper, any ideas on how to sort that out once the bumper is removed?

It could be that the unit is loose or mounted incorrectly, it should be pretty easy to see once you get the bumper off and compare both sides.
