What's going on with the oil ingestion issue? I see another one of our members was hit with it at a track event this past weekend. Also with respect to my own deep sump pan after obliterating the elk, the pan lid and the sump extension piece took a hit strong enough to cause some oil seepage now, can I simply unbolt and reseal with a new gasket?
K-man just remove sump and reseal, oil thing , I am working on it. But I am working on 10 things at once so things take time. Yes you have to grind the timing boss down, there's no way around it. Belt noise, first issue about that now, how new is your belt? You take your belt to a NAPA store and get a shorter belt. The parts guy can figure that out.How much shorter 3/4 to 1" shorter should do. I have been racing with the orginal belt or 2 years no issues. hope this helps you guys. Will be posting a new product next week. billet cv boot holders, outers only as Porsche does not sell them. Only if you want to repack you cv's will you need these.

Reason: correction
So, Ernie, how improved is this? Does the hard anodize indicate the earlier models are "soft" anodized and could be a problem? Or is the new price point the key improvement? (I don't mind paying what I paid. I bought it and considered it a reasonable value at the time).
Ernie, the new version has additional holes drilled in it. is it lighter? I have your old pulley (not installed yet) can I work out a trade for new version? thanks
We just improved the pulley slightly and lowered the price because we could. Its not much lighter, the price I feel is the BIG deal. I still have the orginal one on my car. Some tweeking we did.Last month we blew out the old pulley at the new price. Hopefully You all enjoy my stuff.
With the additional holes it looks just like the BBI Autosport under drive pulley, certainly looks like a redesign. Does it come with a factory crank bolt as well?

Is anyone concerned about warranty issues after you grind down the boss that need to be used for cam timing?
My car is still under warranty and I may wait to install the pulley (though I have it ready to go...)

That boss is only used by the factory for aligning the shaft. If you have a timing issue then they will have to reinstall the old pulley to re-set the timing.
I can't imagine any reason why the factory would decline an engine warranty claim, because you installed an after market pulley. If you are worried, then don't install it. But, you could also see if you can find a dealer that will do the install
