It is quite simple to remove the splitters. I keep a spare set, freshly painted, waiting for the inevitable. To remove, locate the three plastic rivet-like, two-piece, devices that hold the splitter to the bumper (underneath). There is an inner dowel-like center, and an outer hollow stem with the rivet head. Using a drift-pin, or similar 'pusher', push the center part up into the bumper until it falls out of the rivet. Then using needle-nose, or a knife edge, or fingernails, or whatever, pull the rivet down out of the splitter. The dowel pin may or may not fall on the floor - or it may (or may) not be retrievable by groping around inside the back of the bumper. After all three rivets are removed, gently wiggle the splitter loose from the bumper, using whatever magic phrases you are familiar with in the shop.
You are likely to damage or lose part of one or more rivets. The plan is to visit your friendly neighborhood Porsche store beforehand and buy a half-dozen. They are about 75 cents, as I recall.
Installation is the reverse. Mount splitter, lining up holes; insert rivets; shove in push pins. If anyone needs pictures or anything, let me know and give me a day or so.
