X51 Engine Swap Instruction Wanted!!

I plan to put X51 motor into my croc for a long time. But here in Taiwan don't have enough information for me to do this. Can anyone share the full instruction with me? Including every parts wiz part# I will need? Very~Very appreciate

We have 2 sponsors doing them currently and both are supposed to post pics/blog etc. One is RUF the other is Imagine Auto, you might check with one of them.

I think Softronic is also offering X51 conversions - at least their website says they do.

I'm not sure who it is (maybe RedEye or PolarPorsche know?) but we were at Norden Autohaus a few weeks ago at a suspension class and there was a car getting ready for conversion. Last week I went to the local autoshow and lo and behold there was the X51 conversion right there. Custom exhaust, suspension work and a few other tweaks. Looked awfully nice with the engine cover off. Not sure if this is a club member or not but Norden has now converted one at least.....

Yes, and I think PCA-Tech will sell you a whole converstion kit, including everything you need, or at least a list of everything and instructions. Contact him via PM.

Instructions for X51 engine swap:

1. Get one large wheelbarrow
2. Fill it with $100 bills
3. Dump it in the office of Farnbacher Loles
4. Drop of Cayman
5. Wait
6. Take wheelbarrow
7. Fill with more money
8. Dump in the office of Farnbacher Loles
9. Go in back and pick up car
10. Lose D/L on the way home

Revised Instructions for X51 engine swap:

1. Get one large wheelbarrow
2. Fill it with $100 bills
3. Dump it in the office money mart and sent it to Farnbacher Loles
4. ship the Cayman to Farnbacher Loles
5. Wait
6. Take wheelbarrow
7. Fill with more money
8. Dump it in the office money mart and sent it to Farnbacher Loles
9. Ship the car back to Taiwan
10. Lose D/L on the way home

or call the three sponsor mention above. Ruf, Imagine Auto, Softtronic..

1. Order X-51 kit from Softronic. Kit includes everything except engine. 2. Have local Porsche dealer install kit and X-51 engine. I believe this is the easiest way for you. Don't know about warranty and core charge. Maybe we can have a group buy?

2. Remove 3.4L engine
3. Install X51
4. Drive like a Demon on Wheels
