I would like to start a thread for 2.7 owners, that will not only help us find each other on this awesome site, but also discuss all aspects of 2.7 modifications. I've had some trouble searching for 2.7 specific questions and answers regarding our version or this very awesome car. I understand that many aspects of the 3.4 and 2.7 are the same, but they do have different power plants and transmissions.
Please join in even if its just to say hello or list mods that you have plans for, and of course any existing modifications.
I'll start;
I've owned my 2.7 since Dec. 2007
Mods to date Include;
Desnork
Debadge
Clear markers
Mods on the to do list;
Matte black 18" S wheels
Painting calipers (red)
Lowering springs
Exhaust (not for sure)
Harness bar

I picked up my Black-on-Black 2.7 last weekend. The only option the car has are the heated leather seats... which I didn't want anyway (hey, I live in Dallas!).
I don't really plan to modify the car other than possibly putting on some nice, lightweight 18" wheels. I'd keep the stock 17s for autocross and track rubber.
I have an 08 arctic silver with black interior. Only mod is clear side markers. I'm almost half way through the break-in. I'm really trying to stick to the break-in requirements. Although, I have gone to 5000 rpms (a few times). I really enjoy this car! It's good to hear from other 2.7 owners.
My 2008 was an early Christmas present & I completed the 2000 mile break in period last week end. Car drives and sounds great at the higher rpm's under load.
Proud owner of a base 2.7 daily driver, white with beige interior.
No mods yet except if you consider a set of 19" DPE wheels a 'mod'. I'll keep the stock 17" for winter.
I have an 07 with Sport Chrono ,Heated Seats ,Xenon lights ,Upgraded stereo

This optional package is a valuable addition for trackday use. Available in conjunction with the CDR-24 CD radio, it includes a swivel-mounted analog and digital timer unit which is centrally located on the dashboard. All functions are easily accessible via the control stalk for the on-board computer. Analog dials measure hours, minutes and seconds, while a separate digital field displays whole seconds, tenths and one hundredths of a second. A second digital display runs in parallel in the instrument cluster. Click this Link to visit the FAQ entry for Sport Chrono.

Nobody gives you more ways to get the look you want:
1. Purchase new Porsche Factory alloys.
2. Purchase like-new used or restored Porsche alloys from us.
3. Have us refinish your Factory alloys. We restore, anodize, polish and chrome plate.
4. Purchase our aftermarket wheels--we offer the very best, including Kinesis, Fikse, BBS, HRE and Champion to name a few.
5. Exchange your straight, true Factory alloys for Factory alloys pre-finished the way you want.
6. Exchange your scratched/curb damaged Factory alloys for new or refinished Factory Alloys.
7. Trade in your straight, true Factory alloys for aftermarket or Factory wheels. http://www.wheelenhancement.com
