2007-2008 Porsche Sport Exhuast on 2006 with Sport Chrono?

I like the idea of the Porsche Sport Exhaust that adjusts with the Sport Chrono button. I would like exhaust like stock sometimes and loud other times.

Suncoast Porsche, Audi, & VW: Factory Sport Exhaust - Cars with Sport Chrono

This is listed for 2007-2008 only. Any idea why this would not work on a 2006 Cayman or my 2005 Boxster S as it has Sport Chrono? Anyone added this?
