Need Help: People Running Eibach Pro Kit Springs

Did your springs settle after awhile? I know all suspension settles after awhile but I just had my prokit installed yesterday and it looks rediculously high in the rear. I have a 3 finger gap in the rear and a 1.5 finger gap in the front. Does that sound right to people running the pro kit? I am sitting on 20's BTW.
Rears are 285/25/20. Any help or input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Car looks great ...

How much did they charge you to install the springs?

Thanks

I think the Tyres are the problem Try doing a comparison with the stock tyres and you will find that the Radius&Diameter of your 25's are smaller than stock

Tire size calculator

I have the Eibach Spring kit as several of us here in the UK and the 30mm lowering is just right - and yes they do settle a bit after a few days driving

The ultra low profile tyres are going to give you a pain in the @$$ even on so called smooth roads............ I'd carry an inflatable cushion around.

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply. I figured that as well running the 285's, but for some reason I thought it would be lower in the rear. So I wanted to play it safe with a skinnier tire. Even with a bigger size tire I think I would still have a fairly big gap.

So far the ultra low profile tire feels the same compared with my stock 19"s. I guess I'll just have to wait and feel everything out after it settles. I may just have to yank these out and run coilovers.

Well, I only installed my ProKit 2 weeks ago, after measuring 1 week after fitmet the car is 35mm lower all round and it looks "Sat on it's ar$e"
see link for photo's OEM Porsche Cayman Front Spliters
So would tend to agree with Karel that the 25 profile of the tyres is way too low !!

Tess that looks perfect. After getting home from work and really looking at my car again today, the rear tires do look way too thin/smaller. I think I will be upping them to 285/30/20.

Karel thanks for the tire size calculator. Looks like the 285/30/20 would have worked alot better for me. Anyone have better tire size recommendations?
