There was a C S that was at Farhnbacher Loles recently. I thought I remember gt-orange calipers, in fact the whole car was that color. Pics are posted in a thread for Zone 1. I have no idea where he /she got the paint.

Contact Farnbacher-Loles about it, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

Patrick, there's nothing "special" about caliper paint. You can go to any auto parts store and pick up either automotive lacquer or enamel in almost any color under the sun.

On my 911, I painted the calipers using bright red ceramic engine block enamel (about $4 a can). 7 years later, it still looked awesome. Calipers never get that hot, but the ceramic engine enamel I used was rated to 1500 degrees Farenheit. I'm sure they have orange engine block enamel available - I've actually seen a Chevy engine block painted orange at one point.

The most important thing to do is to properly prep the surface (i.e., clean and de-grease) and apply the paint according to the manufacturer's directions.

Okay, I'm confused..........

Why would you got to the effort to replace your orange side markers with clear ones and then go and paint your calipers orange...

It's really just simple math...
Orange side markers = not cool!
Anything else orange = very cool!

See there its all in the math.

Prodgers, Do it bro! Oh and don't forget to give props to the guy that planted the seed of thought. On a side note the pics above kinda look like the G2 orange paint?? Dunno for sure, but the reason I didn't go with the G2 orange was the "pearl look" in their pics. They "G2" need to reconsider the pics on their website.

I have seen the engine paint in Chevy orange and Mopar orange. The Mopar seems to be a pretty close match to the color needed. But it was spray paint, which after brushing 3 coats of G2 on all 4 of my calipers, spraying does sound a tad easyer! On a side note I used 1200 deg engine primer to re coat my rotors, and happy to report its holding up just fine!
