Question Hide away license plate holder anyone?

I was wondering if anyone on this board had any experience with a hide away front license plate holder. I searched but didn't find any reference.

Here's a link:

Thanks in advance!!

Note: those of you living in states w/o front license plates, please go about your daily business and ignore this post.

Cool. I wonder what the police would think of it. Probably not much.

Interesting! Just need to hook it to a cable (lawnmower throttle or bicycle shifter) that runs into the cabin. Then you can deploy it whenever you get pulled over.

As an alternative, I noticed James Bond was selling his old DB5 on Ebay, with the rotating plates...

Pivioting Plate

At a red light, an older Miata pulled up by me and I noticed the front license plate as it pivoted down into place. It was mounted on an axel that ran accross near the top of the plate and had a weight to almost ballance it. As the car moved forward, air pressure on the bottom of the plate would make it fold back into the air intake. When stopped, like parked, it would swing down to vertical. It was perfect for the Miata. However, the Porsche center faux intake is just a little too shallow for this setup.
