Original shot
Pedal cover off the clutch
Both covers off, taped and ready for marking drill points.
Clutch is on
No playing around here, LASER LEVEL time!!!
Zap!!
The brake pedal is metal and a real pain to drill. Here is some improvised backing material for the brake.
Brake pedal is on!
Alright, here is the completed set. The gas and dead pedal were pieces of cake to measure and drill. Just be sure to drill a pilot hole first and take things slowly...

Ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh! PistolPete13, that's so sweet! Now I totally want one (but I also want Blackhawk to install it ). Why can't Blackhawk be in California?? sigh...... j/k
The trickiest part was the brake pedal. Lots of patience and start with a small drill bit and work your way up to the right size. The wood block there helps when you need to press really hard but not have the pedal drop too far.
Use clamps to hold them in place when measuring the holds.
For the gas pedal, the top screw was tough. The back of the pedal is plastic and there's a raised cross hatch pattern (feel it, you'll know what I mean). There is a circular opening on the other side of the pedal near the top where the screw needs to go. We used a piece of paper, put it behind the pedal to trace the outline of the top. This way you're able to get a better sense of where to drill from the front to hit that spot by placing this outline tracing in front of the pedal.
Same thing with the clutch pedal, there is only one spot where the screws can go without hitting the support bracket. Put something behind one side of the pedal and trace the outline of that side. Then over lay this on top to make sure you can clear the support when drilling. You don't want to dremel or in any way compromise that support piece.
For those that don't know, the stock brake and clutch covers come off with a few tugs. They have a rubber surround that wraps around the pedal itself. Dont' pull with the bottom however, that part has a clip and is fixed! I'll try to get better photos in the daylight.

Nice shots!!. Let us know what you think of them. It looks as though the pedals are wider than stock, Is it easier to heel/toe with the new pedals??
Cheers!

The pedals definitely make it easier to heel-toe for me (size 9 shoe). I do more of a brake with the ball of my foot then side-step blip the gas, my heel doesn't come into play.
I'm still a beginner but I had a hard time with the stock pedal setup for some reason. It's much easier for me to reach the gas pedal for the blip now.

Why did you buy these over the other makes of pedals on the market? I haven't made up my mind yet which ones I am going to buy and would appreciate your input.
I've never given new pedals even the slightest thought but that does look good.
Any easier to heel-toe with the AWE?
If you haven't already done it, I'm sure Ken will come on here to ask you to post an article.
