If you do decide to go without it; I suggest you use real Bumperplugs's plugs because they are paint matched and also much flatter and more concealing than your home depot ones.

Four holes, and offset? It's painful to see that. I think you're gonna have a hard time trying to tidy that up. Short of taking it to the body shop you're probably better with the plate on (never thought I'd say that).
Wow, 4 holes is a real pain to cover up. There are two standard mount points on the bumper that have divots in them to help with the drilling of the plastic plate mount. The top two holes looks like the dealer used screws that were a bit too long to secure the top of the plate to that mount.
Those two would be difficult to hide even with Bumperplugs due to the curvature of the bumper at that point.
I would recommend leaving the plate on at this point. You do get used to it after a while. I know my offset MowerAxel tow hook mount looked complete wacky at first, but now I don't event notice it.
Congrats on the new car, I'm sure your enjoying every minute of it!

I appreciate everyones input, not sure the pictures do as much justice as the in person "look" of looking at it. The 8/32 stainless hex head screw uses a 1/16 allen wrench. They are very tiny at 1/8 over all in diameter.
I did have to do some filling of the holes as well as touch up paint, and some intimate heat gun moments. I then re-drilled 1/16 holes to put the new screws in. The factory dimples in the bumper are not much smaller than the over all size of the hex heads that I installed. The only reason I chose not to use the Bumper Plugs brand was that the size of the heads would be about 5 times bigger, and would require a 1/4" hole to be drilled.
Pretty much thinking about running with this look for a bit.
Thank you for the input.

I have white plates (California) on the carrera white car and I think it looks ok--better than getting pulled over after visitng friends and a few pops of wine, etc

Yeah, my dealer put four holes in my bumper too. In all the hustle-n-bustle of buying the car, I just didn't think to tell them not to put that monster plastic thing on the front of my car. OK, so that explains 2 holes. But then the screws that they used on the top were too long, so they went clear through to the bumper. Really annoying.
I have half a mind to to take an electric drill with me the next time I'm at the dealership (for service or whatever). Then I'll pull it out and head over to the GT3 they have in the showroom and ask them where they'd like me to drill the holes. When they looked at me funny, I'd say "well, you didn't have any problem boring holes in my car, so I suppose you won't mind if I punch a few in your's, right?" Ah well, it's just a car... right?
I purchased Bumperplugs -- they look great -- but I'm reluctant to cut even bigger holes in my bumper and pop four of those plugs in there. Maybe I should just cough up the cash to have a body shop fix 'um.
7K miles on my CS since November with no front plate. It's a law here in Missouri but I'm hoping cops have better things to do. So far so good but it could happen. Just in case I carry the plate and frame in my front trunk and plan to plea with the cop. Tell him the mount is on order
I don't think your bumper looks that bad with your diy plugs. I'd leave it. But that's me.
