Underdrive pulley question

While I have the seats out, I thought I might install the ud pulley.
I searched the site but no one had the bolt sizes listed for the crank pulley and the tensioner. I plan on doing it all at once, so I wanted to make sure I had the right tools on hand

Any help would be appreciated...

The tensioner size I do not know, but the hex fitting molded into it is just to grab on to - crescent wrench should work. Good to read BOTH articles on UDP install, if you did not see all of them. Bolt on pulley is 24mm. BillC made some short versions: thread . His last post said he had one left - get him to overnight it to you - makes it easier.

ALSO, very important - from KROKODIL:

CAUTION:

When installing the underdrive pulley (or anytime you remove the crank pulley) you MUST replace the bolt holding the pulley to the crank.

The torque specification for the bolt per the shop manual is 37 lb-ft plus 90 degrees. This "plus 90 degrees" is your indicator that this is ONE TIME USE bolt as it deforms (stretches) during the 90 degree over-torque. This replacement is also specified in the shop manual.

The bolt (PN 900.082.085.09) is not expensive (~$4.00 US) and can be purchased from the dealer
.

If a new bolt did not come with your pulley, get one from the dealer.

both are 24mm (you'll definitely need a shortened socket and a torque wrench with a thin head)
