Beware Fabspeed

Got nothing but the runaround from these guys. Messed up from the get go on there part and still getting popped for 20% restock Bad fabrication on one muffler and the bracketing system is a joke. Talking to these guys is like being in Mcdonalds they have an answer for everything and will not take responsiblility for anything. Plus the hit on sending it back A few 100 down the tubes. worst part about it I'm fixing to ship out busted my bubble been put back on active duty and pay ain't so great and to top it off my wife got it for me so I could rip around before I left. Tomasz good luck with yours I am certain it will install without a hitch To be only fair it was wrong of me to post this ad. These guys produce an incredible product and I did not give them a chance. I had forgotten What it is to be young and defend that which you do. From now on I think I will keep my mouth shut. I've got a lot on yhe table at the moment but this is no excuse And Joey I kept my promise so the $ amount is more than fair

As I have requested via email and PM, I cannot assist our members who may have an issue with a sponsor unless I have pictures and details of the problem. All that I have been able to glean thus far is there is a weld or pipe that is in issue and isn't fitting right. If more than one member is having this issue then certainly I would expect to see pics from each member so I could aggregate them and take them to Fabspeed for them to review what the issue is. As soon as I have this evidence from multiple members here I will place a call to Fabspeed and see what we can do. There are several members who have successfully installed Fabspeed mufflers in the past both Gen 1 and Gen 2 systems so I know they do work, but if there was a problem with some specific run of mufflers or something like that, then we need to point this out to Fabspeed in a fair manner. Telling people to avoid Fabspeed isn't helping other members or helping Fabspeed rectify a problem if there is one.

Fabspeed Motorsports is aware of this instance with LKL777 and is awaiting the arrival of the exhaust so we can test in our fixtures for fitment issues. Once we receive the exhaust I will respond on this thread to clarify this issue. Also Fabspeed has not had any issues with this exhaust in terms of fitment and this is one of our flagship exhausts systems as we offer it for the 986 Boxster and 987 Cayman/Boxster.

I have a full Fabspeed exhaust and every detail,fit,finish,performance,and customer service has been exceptional. I am surprised how their exhaust is not at the top of more Cayman owners wish lists.

I have had several people comment on how fantastic the exhaust sounds and it is very free flowing adding good power and performance.

I had it installed by a local muffler shop and he had it completed within two hours.

I guess I probably spoke to soon and Joey and Jay for the most part were more than willing to get it right for me . I should not have posterd the article. For one to many things on my plate and the thought of coming out of retirement to do another tour has got me on edge. My deepest apologies to the Site , Fabspeed and crew . However I fell this is no excuse. And one in a million everybody is allowed a mistake.
