Were ya coasting down the swiss alps or something?
I'll let you do the Mathematics (Google Search)
A British Imperial Gallon is a little more than the US Gallon - and no, I drove up hill and down dale to the race track in Anglesey (another Google Search)
Exactly 302.3 miles, and the readout from my Cayman gave the figure noted..............(in Imperial Gallons)

I installed the new Softronic Race Plenum (SRP) and ECU upgrade last weekend in my 2007 3.4L Boxster "S" (same as the Cayman "S"). Today I took it out for a 150 mile round trip drive and averaged 70 mph, and even had some spirited burst of speed, about 10% of the time. The info center displayed 29.8 mpg, which I consider to be quite good. Everything worked fine and extra power in the upper revs was a hoot,
Plenum
The plenum is the piece that goes between the Cayman throttle body and the intake runners. The factory piece is a long black plastic tube with a divider down the middle. There are aftermarket replacements which are designed to allow the air to flow easier/faster into the engine and increase horsepower and torque.
Softronic
SOFTRONIC produces DME programming and hardware to suit your companies specifications. Our current software suite is a complex matched set of programs housed in a Flash Manager and Flash Client. This software is matched with two cables, an End User and Master Cable. The SOFTRONIC proprietary flashing solution outperforms all other combinations in speed and accuracy including the factory Porsche equipment.
I got a slight increase. ~1-2mpg. Every little bit helps!
I was actually wondering if Scott can make a flash for fuel economy purposes. I've heard this done with other vehicles where there is a separate flash for performance and fuel economy.
Engine is more efficient, therefore depending how you drive it.... saying that, on my last track day (last week) I noticed an increase. Normally I return something like 7.2-7.8 mpg last week was 8.6 !!. I also noticed on a longer freeway run that I'm getting > 30 mpg. Never got that on the standard software

Wow thats really good mpg. I wish I could get that, even on my last roadtrip which the majority of the time was spent cruising at 65+mph the final readout was only 25.2.
I installd my plenum and flash last weekend and unfortunately my MPG has gone down. It's just so much fun to drive it's hard to keep my foot out of the gas tank. I'm sure I'll eventually be able to drive more normal, but right now the performance is too much fun!
