I just bought and received this set of PSS9's off of E-bay. Perfect almost new condition for only $800!! They were on a dealer's new car for delivery and the new owner didn't like them. I honestly feel like I stole them from someone and that price.

We own the No-Turn-Technology center hub cap art via a 1999 USA utility patent. We are working with the idea that a center hub cap that is not turning while the wheel that it is attached to is turning, could produce a usable amount of electric current.
In this day of trying to find another source of power, we feel that this idea could be developed to produce a current in every rotating wheel on a vehicle, which could be captured and stored in the the automotive system and reused in some way. We have already seen a device installed on a wheel that generates current to light up the center hub cap. There are a lot of 18 wheeler vehicles out there that could employ such a unit to light up a commercial advertisement on each wheel.
We think this has a lot of possibilities, but we need some brain power to make it happen. We would love to hear any comments on this idea.

Those look like the PSS9-R's with the reversed valving. They don't work on a Cayman, unfortunately. I had a set and sold them on eBay myself.
Just yanking your chain, HeHe. Sweet deal.

You had me going for a sec because I thought they were compatible! Hope to get them installed for Sept 10th @ T-hill Lotus club event.

The problem is that I live in the middle of nowhere (as far as reliable shops are concerned) so I have to travel to either Portland or the Bay Area for the install. I'd do it myself, but I just don't want to deal with it (no time or special tools) right now. So, it is a 1.5 day job in the shop for the swapout, corner balance, and alignment so I really need to take 2 days off of work and leave early the night before in order to make it up to Portland. I was hoping to get to a track day before then but my schedule is tight this summer and Thunderhill is being repaved for a couple of weeks!

Is this the "random info in the middle of a thread" portion of the program or am I missing something?

They make a BIG difference on a Cayman and are a must-do for serious track work -
WAY TO GO!

Are you going to add GT3 control arms too? I need to do the same thing with a LSD
LSD - Limited Slip Differential
A limited slip differential (LSD) is a modified or derived type of differential gear arrangement that allows for some difference in rotational velocity of the output shafts, but does not allow the difference in speed to increase beyond a preset amount. In an automobile, such limited slip differentials are sometimes used in place of a standard differential, where they convey certain dynamic advantages, at the expense of greater complexity.
The main advantage of a limited slip differential is found by considering the case of a standard (or "open") differential where one wheel has no contact with the ground at all. In such a case, the contacting wheel will remain stationary, and the non-contacting wheel will rotate freely– the torque transmitted will be equal at both wheels, but will not exceed the threshold of torque needed to move the vehicle, thus the vehicle will remain stationary. In everyday use on typical roads, such a situation is very unlikely, and so a normal differential suffices. For more demanding use however, such as driving off-road, or for high performance vehicles, such a state of affairs is undesirable, and the LSD can be employed to deal with it. By limiting the velocity difference between a pair of driven wheels, useful torque can be transmitted as long as there is some friction available on at least one of the wheels.
