TPC is doing the work. I talked to my dealer beforehand and they said wouldn't have any problems with the warranty unless it was a fault that could be traced to the modifications. How that'll work out when I actually need the warranty remains to be seen.

Interesting. Here's the pic Mike sent of Paul's car.

Looks like Paul's was finished with the air box cover on and sleeper's was still in progress with some hoses missing.

Man, the power available when that turbo kicks in is heaven. I haven't had too much time to play around with it yet since the weather has been pretty wet since I've gotten back, but some straight line acceleration on the highway has been delicious.

Once I get some time and dry roads I'll hook up the accelerometer and let you guys know how fast this thing actually is (well at least with my lackluster shifting skills).

This sounds like a Monty Python skit, when being told his insurance policy was valid, then:

"It says quite clearly here in you insurance policy that no claim that is made will be paid"

I’ll make a sacrifice to the sun gods for you. I haven't seen any numbers since the time slip from the TPC turbo vs a GT3.

I got de-snorked at TPC with an expanded metal mesh added and the plate was still on Paul’s car. What happened to yours?

Yeah extra cooler up front, metal grate on the side vent for the turbo. Hearing that thing burble when dumping the accelerator is good fun.

Krimsonkid,

If you install this, your engine warranty will be limited to what TPC provides on their stuff. Porsche will not, and NEVER will, cover your engine after this mod. I don't care what your dealer tells you, but if anything is covered, it is because your dealer is hiding the truth from Porsche directly in order to make you happy.

That is a guarantee and should be treated as a fact. I know I will get flamed for saying this, but do you actually think Porsche will cover your engine after this mod? If you really feel that I am wrong, then make sure to establish a warranty claim legal fund when having this turbo kit installed.

Be realistic.
