Milltek Muffler

Just a quick one to Milltek Exhaust owners. Do you guys still get fine pieces of the glass pack across the back of your cars? I have done over 9000km and there is still small amounts appearing.

Maybe I do have it.
Since I have now not washed my car for 3 weeks, I can feel a gritty dust on the paint. Maybe this is it?

No that's just road debris, the backs of our cars are magnets for road debris, etc. coming up from underneath the car and quite possibly what the OP is seeing as well. Glass pack fibers would be just that, actual fibers and those would look quite different from grit, dust, sand, dirt, etc.

Milltech vs. AWE

Anyone care to chime in as which one of these they would prefer and why?

It is quite normal for little pieces fibre glass to blow out of glass pack mufflers when they are new. It is hard to see as they are very fine. You can only notice the reflecting light from it if your car has not been washed for a while, but has not gotten that dirty.
I am still noticing small amounts after two vehicles and several thousand km's. Both my cars have been jet black which makes it easier to see.
