Any exhausts with similar sound to Tubi?

That are less expensive?

Great question. I test drove a CS with tubi's and really liked it.

i think remus sounds very similar to what ive heard of the tubi on a CS...

i went with remus because its a full catback with tips and sounds phenomenal...and the tubi is just mufflers without tips so not a complete catback.

What does the Tubi cost? I think the Remus sells for $1,700. The Borla remains the best value in the aggressive sound neighborhood (or any sound neighborhood) at ~$1,350 from AJUSA.

You should find this thread intersting: Exhaust Sound Collection

tubi is 2400 for just the mufflers...you have to either buy new tips or reuse the stock ones...so it could potentially be more.
the remus goes for 1700-1800 (i got a much better price than that, and also less than the groub buy price). its a good combo of agressiveness (although there is MORE agressive) and a great scream to it.
the lowest i had seen was 15XX for the borla-it sounds greats, but it looks like it would drone a hell of a lot. that is a GREAT price and now im contemplating that one. how significant is the drone?

Wow.... That's a great deal. The best price I've seen on the Remus.

The drone is there, but it all depends on how you drive it. Your best best is to poll the club members to see if there is someone in your area with one you can hear in person.

I am in CT. Not sure if you make it up North at all. I currently have the AWE on my car, but have a Borla sitting in my basement that I can put back on in less than 2 hours time.

The price is right, but the wait is long. See this.

Anyone heard both the Remus exhaust and Tubi back-to-back/in-person and can verify their simularities?

I like the idea of a more Ferrariesque wail.

I have a few Remus Exhaust Clips on Youtube Just type porsche cayman Remus Exhaust prodgers82461 is my user Id. FYI I Paid 2K for my remus so this is a really great price .after having it on my car for almost 2 years now I would have paid more for the HP and Exotic Sound my Cayman produces. Simply Awsome .The tubi is a Quality product but for the $$$ I went with the REMUS and have been EXTREMELY HAPPY I DID ...
