Is there a particular reason why you have eliminated softtronics as a choice? Just curious...I dont have a remap of any sort

I am also wanting a remap but softronic seem to take an age to reply to emails

not easy based in the UK to phone etc.

I have narrowed it down to

1st choice softronic
joint 2nd Revo and G.A.I.C

I just wish Scott at Softronic whould reply to Emails quicker becasue if I had a problem how long would it take to get it fixed ?
its not only Scott, Remus UK dont either

you think these people would want to sell stuff in these hard times

Todd at AWE has been great though with fast reply's, its just the UK agent is on the other side of the UK to me so no chance of going there, and they have not replied to my Emails either grr

Scott is much more responsive for problems than he is for general questions.

I do not think you will go wrong with him. I just got his flash so I have not had enough time to give you a review but others have spoken highly of his work.

Dont have any experience with Revo. I do know the softronics works well. Am pretty happy with my upgrades and think it was worth the price of admission.

Tons of posts on the forum about it.

I tried the 5 hour free trial from REVO that was offered by my OPC. I was not really impressed with it, there was no bump in the rev limit and the gas mileage went down. I can't say that I noticed any real gains in the cars performance.
I now have the softronic pkg and it has a noticable bump in performance over 4000 rpm. My gas mileage has also improved to 29 mpg. (imp. gallon). Just my 2-cents worth.

Do you have an S? I have the Revo in my S and when it was programmed it was programmed with the most agressive setting. Maybe on your trial they only programmed you with the minimum remap. My car has a full exhaust, headers, etc and an EVO air filter and the car is producing about 295 hp at the rear wheels. The power is not as linear as I would like but once over 4krpm it really kicks in. I too am looking at softronic based on its prevalence and reputation on this sight.

Yes, I have a 3.4L S but no other mods at all, this may have restricted the full potenial of the REVO upgrade. I not saying the REVO is no good, just that it wasn't noticable to me. My car is not a DD so I don't notice small differences like those who drive the Porsche everyday.

I'm sorry however I have no emails or PM's from this site and none unanswered at Marine351@aol.com? I did just check the info at the Softronic web site and found no questions unanswered either? Now there were a couple that I responded to several times and they were bounced back from the past couple weeks. Where did you send your email to? and what was your email address? Please send this info in a PM so that your info is not divulged. Otherwise for the record what would you like to know?

Have you tried to call? I have reps availible 9-5 M-F USA EST.

Best,
Scott
