Yes I have one on my car now for testing and it will shortly be tuned with GIAC programming. So far I'm pleased wtih the intake from EVO, more sound, more grunt when in passing gears. There will be an article coming soon with the details so standby!

There may well be a group buy coming on the intakes and/or ecu tuning, but we've got to get the testing done on my car first and report the results, hopefully sometime next week. Preliminary results of the intake so far have been positive. I've got this to say about water getting into the intake box without the deflector plate. When opening my airbox there was evidence that water had crept into the airbox and as it was designed to to flowed to the bottom of the airbox along a channel and out the drain hole, never getting to the air filter element or into the engine. I'm really not concerned about the removal of the baffle plate after seeing inside my airbox and how it was designed along with the knowledge that I've driven through some pretty heavy rains with no baffle plate and it has never been a problem.
thanks for the update. concerning the water penetration...that is why instead of removing the air baffle pate and replacing it with mesh...i suggest members to drill holes on the plate directly to de-snorked their caymans. this can be done by drawing a grid on the back of the baffle plate so as the drilled holes have a symetrical look.
please let us know when you have results from your test...
I can't find anywhere pictures of it installed. I'm sure you will have picts soon but out of curiosity, is it a hot-air intake (exposed to engine compartment) or does the stock airbox cover go back on? Being in Florida, I'm concerned about heat soak in stop and go traffic.
The EVO intake fits inside the stock airbox so it is NOT exposed hot engine compartment air. I do have some pics but will wait to publish them with the entire article. The ECU tuning is tentatively scheduled for this Thursday pending Garrett's availability.
