Gearshift

Dear all

I would like to remove the silver aluminium/plastic piece at the front of the gearshift to get it upholstered with handier material like alcantara or back side of leather like it is in the new GT3. The car upholsterer did it already with the steering wheel and with the bigger leathery part of the gearshift. Does anybody know how to remove this piece without braking it?

Thanks

Dario

Check the installation article for the rear center console & the one for the short shifter install in the articles section.

You just take the plastic part (with the gear [pattern on it) offby prying it carefully. It is held in tree places by little plastic 'legs'. Iused a really small allen wrench and useit to push the cap up from bellow. I pushed as much as I could from bellow heading straight up. It just pops off.

After that follow the instructions on the articles. Follow all the links
