Oil Sump Extension

Wejust got finished installing an oil sump extension on Ken's Cayman.Look for an article from K-Man in the near future on this minor modification with outstanding results!

Cost at Woodhouse (Thanks Dwayne and Dan!) was 1 hourof labor, so easy for the dealer to do. Parts come from Mantis Sport Racing and there will be an article posted shortly with pics. Advantage is no more oil sucked into intake, no running dry during hard cornering on the track. Adds deeper sump pickup and about 1-1/2 more quarts of oil which also helps to keep engine oil temperatures cooler.

Yes, weight is marginal, it is carved out of aluminum as you will see and of course some extra oil, but the weight is also way down low so no impact on performance other than the positives stated above.

I looked at Woodhouse's site and could find nothing on the sump extension. Is there a part number, price? Are they the only ones to sell it? Can they ship it if I order by phone?
