ROOCK 3.8 conversion



I have been talking with Fabian Roock of Roock Racing for the last monthon their 3.8 conversion of the CaymanS and need someadvice...<o></o>[/quote]


The conversion cost is very reasonable at a flat $22k for engine swap, sport clutch, ecu, headers, and intake. ROOCK willextend a 2 year warrantee (awesome) and conversion will be completely OEM/serviceable at Porsche dealerships.<o></o>[/quote]

Roock has created some good stuff in the past and had their share of learning experiences as well. I'm sure a search of more generic internet forums like rennlist will produce some interesting reading for you. I don't have any direct experience with them, but would be interested to know that if they are going to have an offering for the Cayman whether or not they want to become a sponsor here. Let me know what Fabian has to say or link us up whenever it is convenient for you.

That's a pricey option considering the relative gains IMHO. I would just do the 9ff Stage 2 Kit. They seem to generate the same low end performance times?


I have had no personal experience with Roock but have heard good things about their work.
