Nope. RUF is in development.

TPC is developing a Turbo for the CaymanS. No ETA.

Heat is going to be the death of that car with any forced induction system.

I would imagine that an air/water intercooler would make the most sense. That way you minimize the length of plumbing to improve throttle response. Plus an air/water intercooler is more efficient than a air/air intercooler, which is especially importent on the Cayman since there is limited space in the engine compartment. A seperate remote radiator could be mounted elsewhere (perhaps in the front) to cool the water for the intercooler. RUF does this for their supercharger kits for the 997. The intercoolers are actually built into the intake manifolds.

I guess I can have 2 supercharged sports cars. The whole supercharging thing will definitely take a while as the Cayman is still new.

You guys are unbelievable.... you must be all Americans since you crave for more induction more horse power. Isn’t it enough you have inside a Cayman S and that is it? You want something stronger and bigger then you must choose different car or different league. Cayman is well balanced car and any addition modificationwould lead to short joy longer trouble. Leave it alone.<o></o>
No its not enough and its not an American thing either. Unless you have been living under a rock for the last 20 years the aftermarket industry has turned into very big business for good reason.

The Cayman chassis is begging for more power and can handle it quite nicely. To some owners there is never enough power and knocking them is, well, un American. The right to modify you car might as well be an Amendment.

I doubt there is room for a twin turbo setup - although it might be a better route for a flat 6 design - but who knows, the heat might just be too much with turbos spinning like mad a few inches behind your backside.

I think small supercharger will be the best bet for packaging although not for driveability or maximum HP.

I would venture a guess at $10k minimum.

I guess you really don’t know what you are talking about (you're probably Canadian) but most of the best Porsche tuners are European.<o></o>
I'm with you. It doesn't NEED anything more. Some folks just can't leave well enough alone. That's why we have space exploration ...
