Third Set of Mods

All parts were from Suncoast Porsche. Great prices and service (thanks Ben!!) They also did the painting. It was immaculate. No runs or orange peel. The spears were painted standard Gloss Black and the lower lip was painted Carrara White.

All parts were covered with 3M clear bra by http://www.autosupershield.com/in Boca by Pepe and George. They do amazing work and treat you like family.

Crocrr: Great stuff!! I'm planning on a white/cocoa Cayman in a few months. Black foglights/spears, white spoiler lips and white aero strakes are at top of my list (along with some cocoa interior trim items).

Could you provide paint details for the black and white front pieces?

some of us here painted the spears flat black using Krylon paint for plastics. it bonded to the plastic well and matches the surrounding fog light area better. ihe high gloss stands out to much...but to each man his own. either way, looks better then the original.

have fun!

Yup. Been there. I did the same thing, but wanted to put the clear on it.Without the clear, someone else on this forum had issues with stone chips. I also tried to order it from Porsche without the primer. THAT would have been the best alternative.

Bottom part of the bumper looks waaaaay better

I'm so glad Porsche is painting those as a standard feature on the 2007 CS's. I always thought the silver looked a little cheap.
