Hey Gang,

in one of the articles there is a way to change the black rubber sills that says 'cayman'on the doors with aluminum one's.Is this something to get from the dealer? or a third party vendor has them? Is there a part # for it?

Thanks

Search for my posts. I had the stock ones replaced with the stainless, lighted sills. You can find some pics under http://gallery.mounicou.com/Cars/

Ultimate Pedals makes them. There's a group-buy going on right now from this site and you can get 20-25% off your order.

I thought that at one time I saw a procedure to change the sills yourself. If I recall there were photos and all with the article. I want to purchase these for my car but I don't want to pay the dealership for installation if I can avoid it. Does anyone know if that article exists or is it a figment of my imagination? Thanks for any help.
