Anyone else get a Milltek exhaust today?

Mine arrived, Fvcking damaged of course. Tips are bent and scratched. The way it was packed, damage was inevitable, the tips were actually sticking out of the corners of the box and rubbing against the flanges. Otherwise it looks great.

The guys at Strat have been great and were very apologetic, new one shipping out tomorrow, no hassles at all. I didn't have time to install it this week anyway.

Alan,

Sorry to hear this happened. I talked to Strat last week and they assured me every unit would be inspected before being sent out so I assume this damaged happened in route from them to you but glad they are taking care of you and perhaps the packing will change going forward if this is a problem. As you know one of my tips was also damaged in shipping and I am awaiting a replacement but I told Strat to get exhausts into the hands of customers like you first they can take care of me later, I'm in no hurry.

That packing is absolutely no good for export. There should be a minimium of 3 inches of styro foam ALL around, esp considering the weight involved. seesh.

Adax - sorry to see you had this problem. that SUCKS!

Strat should spend a little more on packaging and save money and headaches in the long run.

That sucks. Certainly requires more attention to packaging in the future. Such a nice product deserves more care and attention!

<p class="MsoNormal">Adax, Your right that sucks, but mine was packed (same style of box) very, very well. To the extent that I passed comment about how impressed I was with the packing and it was heat wrapped in a think clear plastic on the outside of the box&hellip;.which then poses the question has somebody interfered with it, be it customs or the shipper?? It looks from your photo’s like somebody’s thought I wonder what’s in this heavy box and ripped the corners out&hellip;&hellip;bast*rds&hellip;..again commiserations after waiting for it then it’s damaged&hellip;..feel gutted for you.

Sorry about all this guys. For the moment, we are shipping all catback systems one side per box. That will solve this issue. Milltek is working hard on a new packaging arrangement. So at the moment, all orders are hand inspected and packed one side per box. Expect two cartons when you receive your systems. Thanks for the patience. Pete, Stratmosphere. 1.866.533.1777
