i just saw cayman with Techart Spring at the VIP autoshow at Los Angeles Convention Center.
I have H&R installed in my car, and i was shocked when i saw that the Techart Springs drop much more at the front. it was 20" and it went halfway of the tire. But the back is much higher than the front, i believe that the gap between tires and fender is the same as my H&R springs.

are you looking for the biggest drop, or trying to avoid springs that will drop the cayman too much? Aftermarket springs will eventually "settle" and lower your cayman even more than after the initial install. Coming from someone that has done the Mod I would encourage you (unless your cayman is just a show car), to not go for the most extreme drop. Even with a conservative drop the front will rub sometimes. Usually not an issue cause its on those little black air foils. You have to really watch concrete parking space blocks and when you park up to a curb "head first" so to speak.
Even dropping the cayman and inch or so really gives the cayman a more agressive stance and wont negatively affect your handling.
dt I had Eibachs fitted last week by the same guy who is probably going to do yours.. (Karl the magician at PCM). Aesthetically it is a great improvement on standard, ride is a little firmer and only a small increase in scraping around inner city car parks and that is mostly only the deflectors in front of the front wheels. Does not look like a race car, just looks much more like a Porsche should!
I have the Techart springs on my car with 19" Techart formula wheels. The look to my eye is perfect with a 25mm drop, a little less than the H&Rs. I have not had any problems with scraping or bottoming out, but then again in South Florida there are no potholes or hills. I would not want the car to look any lower, but I did not like the look of the stock suspension at all. I agree that the available Porsche ROW 20mm drop would have been a better all around solution and preferable to aftermarket springs.
