poilshed muffler tip
this weekend i was bored, so i went to home depot and bought a bench grinder, polishing pads and soft metal polishing compound.
i took off my stock muffer tip and poilshed it, it came out great. almost polished to a chrome finish.
i will post pics later on today...
if anyone is interested in having it polished, PM me i can hook it up...

Good work. That was my route as well although I already had the tools. Now I use Stainless Steel Magic to keep them looking nice.

greatwhite, how long did it take you to polish that thing?

Don't know about greatwhite but I only spent an hour or so polishing. I also used some muriatic acid and water mix to clean it before polishng.
